Job Summary of the Part Time Bookkeeper position
Integr8staff seeks a skilled and proven Bookkeeper on a part-time basis in Upland, CA. This role will cover an array of accounting tasks including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliation, preparing financial documents for audits, etc. This role has the potential to become a permanent, full-time hire.
Responsibilities of the Part Time Bookkeeper position
Preparing financial documents for audits
Perform journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
Maintaining the chart of accounts and accuracy of general ledger
Assisting in the processing of weekly payroll via ADP
Preparing monthly financial statements
Gathering data for job costing reporting and job cost budgeting
Updating and reviewing vendor statements and invoicing
Process mail and manage correspondence
Assist in managing financial schedules that coincide with construction projects and billing
Handle technical accounting matters and assist in financial reporting
Strong knowledge of debits, credits, credit card and account reconciliation
Assist in payroll processing and transmittal via ADP
Requirements of the Part Time Bookkeeper position
Previous experience in accounting in the construction industry
Previous experience with ADP/Payroll, preferred
Previous experience preparing for audits
Highly organizational and able to prioritize deliverables, as well as multitask
Good communication skills and customer oriented
Ability to work independently and monotonously.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
