Job Summary of the Inside Sales Representative position

Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Representative position
Generate license fee revenue in excess of position cost.

Enter data quickly and accurately into Contact Management System and Excel
Meet and consistently maintain assigned sales quotas
Have a sales system or tracking method
Calculate activity required to achieve sales goal.
Know why a prospect is going to buy and why the prospect is not going to buy.
Source new sales opportunities through assigned inbound leads, outbound cold calls, and cultivated consultant and vendor relationships.
Properly qualify prospects and understand their needs and requirements.
Perform effective online demos to prospects.
Convey pricing accurately and close sales and achieve quotas.
Shepherds new accounts by investigating and assisting in resolving clients’ problems with deliveries, installation, and service quality.
Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improvements to policies and procedures.
Accurately record all information, updates, corrections, and call results into the contact management and tracking system database.
Process appropriate paperwork, transactions and or sales using contact management and tracking database, telephone, personal interaction, mail, e-mail.
Interact with other internal departments by telephone, voice mail, e-mail or fax regarding assigned projects as required to meet client satisfaction.
Attend and participate in department, inter-department and vendor partners meetings as needed.

Requirements of the Inside Sales Representative position
High School Diploma/ 5+ years sales experience and/or training.

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have knowledge of contact management software, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word
This position requires excellent phone selling skills
Demonstrate and sell by phone speaking clearly and persuasively
Be at work consistently and on time
