Job Summary of the Labor & Employment Litigation Paralegal position

Responsibilities of the Labor & Employment Litigation Paralegal position
Provide comprehensive support to Labor & Employment attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, from the initiation of a case to the discovery period, through trial, post-trial findings, and appeals. 

Utilize extensive knowledge of litigation, trial procedures, federal, state, appellate court, and administrative agency rules and procedures nationwide (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, DOL).
Technical, organizational, and administrative skills are necessary to handle the variety of duties and responsibilities outlined below.
Will handle multiple projects, often in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, requiring prioritization and flexibility.
Collaboration with firm personnel at all levels is integral to the role.
Self-manage projects and monitor discovery and filing deadlines to ensure completion of pending projects and compliance with statutory pre-trial deadlines. 
Handle multiple projects with changing priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements of the Labor & Employment Litigation Paralegal position
An ABA-approved paralegal certification is required

A minimum of 3-5 years of Litigation Paralegal experience working in a law firm.
Labor & Employment practice experience required
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, plus substantial and relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree or some college is preferred
Must have proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, and Teams. 
Experience with TrueFiling, Relativity TextMap, CaseMap, PageVault, or other document management system is preferred
Experience with voluminous document productions and e-discovery.
Working knowledge of Superior, Federal, U.S. District Court, and administrative agency rules and procedures (e.g., EEOC, NLRB, DOL).
The current Firm policy is hybrid–working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week and working from home the rest of the week (subject to change).
Minimal domestic travel may be required to other offices and trials, up to 10%
Ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
Possess excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
