Job Summary of the of the Human Resources Manager position
Integr8staff seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead and direct all functions of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, training & development, benefits administration, safety, employee and labor relations, employee and community engagement and leave administration.
Responsibilities of the of the Human Resources Manager position
Discovers new recruitment platforms to enable sourcing the best talent.
Establishes best practices for selection, recruitment, and approvals per budget.
Develop community initiatives to support local recruitment and ability to identify opportunities to enhance recruitment and onboarding processes.
Builds job descriptions around business objectives and core competencies.
Champions Best in Class onboarding procedures.
Partners with management regarding turnover trends.
Partners with plant leadership and quality with regards to safety, risk, good manufacturing practices.
Manages Annual Open Enrollment of benefits and benefit presentations.
Ensures compliance with EEO and other non-discrimination laws.
Researches and handles special projects as assigned.
Collaborates with VP of HR on all employee and community events.
Collaborates with VP of HR on succession planning, training and development initiatives and to achieve Great Place to Work recertification annually.
Partners with compensation team regarding benchmarking compensation study.
Partners with IT in the continuing development of HRIS implementation.
Prepares periodic reports for management and performs other duties assigned.
Regular follow-up with Hiring Managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Manage HR initiatives, systems, and tactics.
Monitors adherence to policies and legal standards and invokes corrective action as needed.
Investigates and handles employee and labor relations matters, union grievances and violations.
Anticipates and resolves litigation risks.
Analyzes data using HR metrics.
Requirements of the of the Human Resources Manager position
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resource Management,
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Human Resources required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role required.
HR Certification (PHR, PHR-CA or SHRM-CP) preferred
Experience in a union environment required.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience implementing HRIS/ HCM systems is required
Service-oriented; provides excellent customer service in person, telephone, etc.
Excellent computer skills/literacy, with expertise in the Microsoft Office
Ability to exercise care and discretion with confidential/sensitive information
Gain trust and confidence of Operation Leadership and employees.
Be a strategic leader who is clear and convincing
Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.
