Job Summary of the Associate Creative Director position
The ACD is a dynamic wordsmith and big-picture, motivational leader who can contribute and inspire fellow creative staff to come up with mind-blowing ideas and create killer executions.
Responsibilities like concept development, creative direction, creative collaboration, and offering a creative perspective on strategy will be routine. You will provide specific direction to art directors, designers, and writers, with the goal of pushing the work to award-winning levels.
Responsibilities of the Associate Creative Director position
Lead and inspire teams of highly creative designers and writers
Lead and write across a broad range of media
Write for integrated ads; tv, radio, print, social, digital campaign platforms
Ensures design concepts, script tone and styles are consistent with brand guidelines
Creation and development of concepts through execution
Participate in brainstorm and ideation sessions
Work closely with strategic planning and account teams to drive creative campaign development
Engage our clients with confidence to earn trust and respect.
Know what makes for highly compelling creative experiences, then invent ways to make them better while delivering a return on investments to the clients served.
Work with the Creative Director to ensure maximum effectiveness of various concepts.
Partner with clients, creative and senior team members to heighten a brand's significance and performance.
Provide constructive feedback and direction to junior members, but also lead by example.
Be self-motivated, hard-working & resilient to ever-changing timelines and deliverables.
Requirements of the Associate Creative Director position
5+ years of creative direction experience (at least 2 years at a senior writer level)
Participation and exceptional client pitch presentation skills
Multicultural Consumer Segment Experience Required
Experience with cultivating ideas for a wide range of categories and market segments.
Writing across integrated campaigns; tv, radio, digital platforms, social media, print, etc.
Must love to write and have the ability to understand a brand voice and use it to spin out words that will cover a vast range of topics.
Advertising agency experience - A MUST.
Outstanding portfolio of work.
Strong leadership skills as well as written and verbal skills.
