Job Summary of the Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter position
Integr8staff seeks an ambitious Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter with recruitment skills to provide HR support and lead recruitment activities for a growth focused marketing agency. Daily responsibilities include employee relations, policy implementation, training and cultural development, onboarding and recruitment, benefits and payroll administration, compliance and more. In addition, the HR Generalist will interact with all associates, senior leadership, and governmental and private agencies and handle day-to-day company and operational support.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter position
Maintains employee files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance and confidentiality.
Guides employees appropriately when HR related questions or concerns arise
Provides employee information and documents in response to requests by upper management.
Provides direct support to internal employees, and management as part of a centralized initiative.
Supports management team with new hires, terminations, job transfers, job changes, compensation, etc.
Works directly with hiring managers to get a full understanding of their business objectives, challenges and culture and use the information in the vetting and interview process
Verifies new hire on-boarding paperwork and prepares and extends offer letters.
Develops, executes and improves human resource and company policies and procedures
Performs necessary research and works cross functionally to resolve HR related issues
Supports and participates in the employee exit process as needed
Facilitates annual benefit enrollment communications to employees as requested
Researches, proposes changes, improvements to the company’s benefits package.
Assists with responses to requests for records (e.g.-E-verify, EDD, Internal/External Audit, etc.)
Manages and oversees all leave of absence cases
Supports payroll-related functions as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements of the Human Resources Generalist/ Recruiter position
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership or related field.
At least 3 years of Human Resources (HR) experience in a Generalist role
At least 2 years of recruiting focused experience with demonstrated results
Strong employee relations experience required
Talent Acquisition best practices
HR Certification SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidential information and discretion
Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
