Job Summary of the Account Manager role
Integr8staff seeks a tactical and confident Account Manager with African American/ Multicultural consumer marketing experience to work on a global brand focusing on expanding their consumer base into national markets. This role reports to the Account Supervisor and offers rewarding, portfolio-worthy project potential.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager role
Establish a deep understanding of the client’s business
Bring knowledge and cultural insight of the Multicultural/ African American segment to effectively create targeted advertising campaigns.
Display knowledge of the agency, promotions, event and digital media processes
Will be responsible for presentations, budgets and creative briefs
Manage all deliverables per program/project
Ability to review client documents and check for errors
Be an effective leader who manages team and keeps them motivated
Manage internal/external budgets
Ability to juggle multiple timelines, deadlines and client’s expectations
Exhibit problem solving capabilities and forward thinking abilities
Forthcoming about workload and need for assistance or adjusted deadlines
Be able to provide solutions to a problem and make a recommendation
Lead internal/external meetings
Provide weekly client updates to leadership
Manage and support your team and staff
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication
Build growth opportunities by providing thought leadership to client(s)
Stay up to date with current marketing trends – especially trends in the Multicultural/ African American segment
Requirements of the Account Manager role
3+ years of account services experience, especially with Multicultural/ African American markets
A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in marketing or communications) is required
Experience serving consumer goods, telecom, entertainment and retail clients is preferred
Must be proficient in integrated advertising, marketing
Integrated traditional, PR, social media and digital marketing experience required
Familiarity with marketing research and applying it to projects
Experience with the production processes
Comfortable with creating and delivering client presentations
Solid organizational, verbal and written communication skills preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, presentation and research tools.
