Job Description for the Freelance Copywriter 
Integr8staff seeks a creative, effective and ambitious Copywriter who is capable of coming up with big ideas, experiences and executing them across all channels while demonstrating leadership capabilities. A conceptual thinker and solid writer who’s just as comfortable with digital marketing as they are with print, social, experiential and more. We need someone who can develop brands from scratch, crank out killer headlines, lead projects through ideas and vision, and communicate concepts—with passion and energy.
Primary Responsibilities of the Freelance Copywriter
Write clear and persuasive copy for clients' ads including print , digital and social, display, and other forms of advertising.
Develop unique, progressive scripts, case studies, and more.
Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.
Work with account teams to determine client needs and budget.
Ensure campaign stays on strategy and within budget.
Work with creative teams to create strategic ideas create decks with a strong focus on ideas and visuals.
Oversee campaigns from conception to completion.
Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed by client.
Work within tight deadlines.
Monitor and change advertising campaigns to increase effectiveness.
Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.
Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with other members of the creative team.
Work with outside resources, printers, photographers and production companies to complete the campaign.

Required Experience and Skills for the Freelance Copywriter
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; literature, language, communications, etc.
Must have 3+ years of experience with marketing or advertising copywriting.
Writing for the African American and Hispanic consumer markets preferred.
Good judgment and imagination to create ideas and words for the creation of an advertisement.
Schooling in creative writing or conceptual advertising.
Previous successful experience in copy writing and content creation for social, pitch decks, digital and ad copy.
Knowledge and passion for art, culture, fashion, sports, and music
Portfolio or reel required to demonstrate creative and technical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented.

Must provide a current portfolio with copy writing samples and resume to be considered for the role. This role does not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
