Job Summary of the Accounting Clerk position
Integr8staff seeks an ambitious Accounting Clerk to ensure timely and accurate completion of day to day general accounting tasks. The Accounting Clerk works with the Accounting Manager on wide range of accounting duties, department process improvements and policy and procedure coordination supporting the accounting group.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk position
Post & reconcile credit card purchases and shipping bills
Input 3PL bills into NetSuite software and organize payments
Coordinate warehouse inventory transfers as needed
Responsible for issuing purchase orders to factory, billing & processing
Audit physical inventory count, cycle counts, FIFO monitoring, audit and inventory reconciliations.
Bring up-to-date all inventory item price levels in ERP system as needed
Assist in preparing monthly legal reports to compliance department
Prepare and assist in auditing monthly sales tax report, provide findings to upper management.
Make prepayments and assist in filing quarterly sales tax return.
Prepare quarterly foreign report, file quarterly return
Download and update product transactions and reconcile against bills and payments.
Track reporting via Quick Books for associated companies.
Assists with general accounting functions i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections. Process daily invoice audits, fraud review, issues credit card refunds.
Support accounting team with month-end and year-end closing reports etc.
Backup the accounting team with miscellaneous tasks.
Requirements of the Accounting Clerk position
2+ years Accounting/ GL experience
Must have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Proficient in NetSuite ERP and QuickBooks software system strongly desired
Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel & Word with a minimum 45 wpm typing speed
Financial aptitude, cost awareness and solid Excel skills a must
High-attention-to-detail, flexibility, follow-through, judgment and organizational skills.
