Rate $18-20/hr., DOE plus commission
Job Summary of the Insurance Customer Service Representative
Integr8staff has an immediate need for an ambitious and career-minded Insurance Customer Service and Sales Representative for our client, a fast-growing financing company. The Insurance Customer Service Representative performs the essential functions of the position, which include aiding clients with service requests, changes to existing policies, policy renewals; as well as actively selling, quoting, binding new policies.
Responsibilities of the Insurance Claims Customer Service Representative
Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other service-related items; verifies their accuracy; and forwards them to the client with the appropriate correspondence.
Completes applications and submits them to appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies
Develop and prepare information needed throughout the policy period regarding coverage, premium and exposures
Receive inbound calls related to insurance quotes and preform outbound calls to customers that have received our quotes on their insurance
Communicates with clients regarding insurance related questions to their policy
Verifies policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary
Process policy renewals including any supplemental questionnaires
Reviews audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier
Acts as liaison between customer service and other organizational departments
May be asked to help with other duties not listed in this description
Records all communications in system for tracking, which includes but is not limited to, customer requests, claims information, policy endorsements, inquiries, and activities to resolutions.
Requirements of the Insurance Claims Customer Service Representative
High school diploma or GED
2-3 years of customer and/or call center experience
1-3 years of experience in Commercial Trucking Insurance (APD, AL, NTL, MC, GL)
Must Have 1 year of Trucking Insurance policy service
Trucking Insurance sales and service experience is a MUST
Active Property & Casualty Agents License(P&C) required OR renewable license OK
Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures
Knowledge of insurance products and markets
Strong problem-solving skills to ensure related matters are handled timely
Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications with strong overall keyboarding and internet skills
