Job Summary of the Bookkeeper position
Integr8staff seeks a seasoned, career-minded Bookkeeper for a highly regarded, award-winning, national accounting firm.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper position
Monthly end closing, month bookkeeping including recording of cash receipts and disbursements
Maintaining the general ledger including monthly journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations
Organizing and scanning source documents into electronic storage data files
Perform all cash management tasks, including the handling of accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions
Preparation of financial statements according to GAAP
Support with payroll duties and functions if needed
Support a diverse group of partners and accounting clients
Assist with any ad hoc projects as requested
Requirements of the Bookkeeper position
Bachelors in Accounting or Business Administration with an accounting emphasis
Minimum of 2 years of related accounting work experience
Experience with bookkeeping, general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliation, A/P, A/R and payroll functions
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, and other formulas)
Microsoft Office Suite
Technical accounting skills and abilities
Experience with QuickBooks Online
CPA licensed preferred
