Job Summary of the Account Manager position
A fast-growing nationally recognized sporting goods manufacturer and distributor is looking for an Account Manager to join their expanding team. In this role you will be given the opportunity to manage direct imports, inventory and order management for key accounts and improve the customer experience, the most critical area of the organization. The importance of this role is to ensure that customers needs and orders are met accurately, on-time and provide feedback that will help improve the order experience.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager position
Manage and build customer accounts, maintain account portfolios
Provide accurate price quote and data analysis
Maintain a cross organizational understanding of work flows, in order to trouble shoot issues
Provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries about products and services
Articulate basic needs to internal teams
Act as liaison between customers and vendors
Assist upper management with other assignments as needed
Qualifications of the Account Manager position
Bachelor's Degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in account executive, business development, or administrative assistance
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with external partners
Extremely effective written and verbal communications skills
Outstanding organizational skills with high degree of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem solving techniques
Requires the ability to multi-task, manage time, and work well under pressure
Computer proficiency including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Outlook, Photoshop etc.
Bilingual in English / Mandarin is a required
