Job Summary of the Junior Interior Designer position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Interior Designer with furniture, fixtures and equipment architecture and design skills in the Hollywood, CA area.
Responsibilities of the Junior Interior Designer position
Collaborate and interface with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.
Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines
Requirements of the Junior Interior Designer position
4 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school
Passion for design and an eye for detail
Excellent 2D drawing and rendering ability
Demonstrated experience and interest in the high-end luxury furniture, fixtures and equipment in their portfolio or samples of work.
Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, and Microsoft Office Suite
3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team
