Job Summary of the Lab Technician position
Integr8staff seeks a motivated Lab Technician with Aerospace, Defense Manufacturing industry experience to join a world-class and legacy engineering company for a long-term career opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician position
Performs laboratory tests to determine mechanical and physical characteristics of rubber materials for such purposes as quality control, process control, or product development.
Sets up and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as tensile testing machine, hardness tester, specific gravity tester, MDR, Oven and other equipment.
Perform materials testing on organics, rubbers and other products for physical and mechanical properties including specific gravity, hardness, tensile strength, elongation, viscosity, melting or flash point, etc.
Report test results per materials testing specifications and generating test reports.

Requirements of the Lab Technician position
2+ Year’s experience as a lab technician in aerospace
High School Diploma is required.
Knowledge of industrial materials specifications.
Ability to operate lab equipment including tensile testing machines (Instron, Alpha or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines in fast paced environment
Intermediate skills in working with Microsoft Office.
