Job Summary of the Account Executive position

The role of the Account Executive is to lead and nurture the client relationship, orchestrate and integrate the services of the agency on behalf of the client, and ensure that the agency is providing the kind of consistent proactive thinking and added value that contributes to healthy and effective client relationships that result in growth.
Provides business/product expertise, including brand positioning, marketplace data, competitive, category, and consumer insights to identify and develop growth opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Account Executive position
Establish and clarify expected outcomes for assignments and the client relationship in general.
Develop and provide expertise on the brand and category.
Be the SME and lead the agency teams in understanding, synthesizing, and utilizing the information.
Demonstrate critical thinking and thought leadership on a consistent and ongoing basis through participation in meetings, calls, and other client interactions.
Work with other agency functions to develop multi-channel, multidisciplinary plans, POV’s and recommendations, as required to keep the Agency top of mind to clients.
Assists the Strategy Team in briefing creative and connection teams on major new initiatives.
Review and approve marketing briefs and make recommendations for completeness
Identify and orchestrate Agency resources to ensure integrated, cross-functional solutions.
Help to present work and recommendations to the client and secure client approvals.
Develop spending and budget recommendations.
Forecast and estimate Agency resources for a specific project.
Generate business and brand-building strategies and ideas.
Lead and manage the client relationship.
Responsible for account P&L and ensures profitability through pricing and scope management.
Develop, present, and negotiate annual agency fees and budgets.
Ensure clients’ perception that agency consistently provides value-added services.
Supervise and approve the administration of client’s budgets.
Monitor and evaluate all costs from within the Team.
Requirements of the Account Executive position
2+ years of previous strategy-focused Account Management experience.
Integrated advertising and managing multicultural-targeted campaigns and clients.
Telecommunications and direct response experience a must.
Proven track record of success in the advertising and marketing space.
Multicultural advertising required.
