Job Summary of the Customer Service Representative position
Integr8staff seeks a Customer Service Representative with sales support/ logistics assistant skills to act as a primary point of contact to assigned accounts. Our client is an export shipping company in Orange County, CA.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative position
Create and send POs to suppliers and logistics coordinators.
Communicate any booking info/requests that suppliers or sales reps give you with the logistics coordinators.
Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all suppliers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of operational export processes.
Manage supplier relationship in assigned accounts.
Proactively provide shipment status and notify suppliers/sales rep of any delays regarding shipments.
Ensure POs are being completed in 30 days.
Review open POs for assigned accounts, weekly.
Proactively ensure current pricing information is available for the sales team.
Address supplier concerns, provide timely feedback, and follow up on escalations.
Requirements of the Customer Service Representative position
2-3 years of customer service experience in the logistics, import/export or distribution industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Sales and client support experience required
Knowledge of trucking and ocean export process is a plus
Detail oriented with experience in reviewing orders and documenting customer requests
