Monday to Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm
Salary: $28.00- $33.00/hr DOE

Job Summary of the Payroll Specialist (Certified Payroll required) 
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Payroll Specialist who can run weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for approximately 160 employees. This role will require the candidate to be certified for payroll and have experience with prevailing wages. 

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist (Certified Payroll required) 
Collect and review employee information such as working hours, calculate wages, and prepare and process employee payments.
Collect timesheets and payroll information, data entry of missed punches.
Prepare and process weekly payroll of 160 employees utilizing ADP Workforce Now (exempt and non-exempt).
Process payroll transactions such as final checks, garnishments, direct deposits, stop payments, etc.
Maintain Excel spreadsheets regarding ticket information and submit all required reports
to various agencies.
Set up earnings and deductions codes.
Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Calculate and pay prevailing wage hours worked on a weekly basis using excel.

Completing and submitting reports such as EEO and CA Pay Data Report.
Process prevailing wage Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs).
Submit monthly construction laborer trust fund contributions (CLTF) and CAC training contributions.  
Calculate the regular rate of pay on flat sum bonuses for employees receiving two or more hourly rates.
Research, analyze, and resolve all discrepancies/complaints relating to pay and hours including interacting with employees and apprentices.

Calculate wages, tax deductions, verifications of employment, and respond to government agencies' requests.
Research, analyze, and resolve all discrepancies/complaints relating to pay and hours including interacting with employees and apprentices.
Submit reports through various software platforms - DIR, LCP Tracker, BCA, etc. as requested by customer (CPRs should be processed within 2 weeks of the ticket date. Non-performance needs to be reported weekly).
Communicate with ADP to resolve any issues on Workforce Now.
Communicate with employees regarding time or pay questions.
Full cycle processing of apprentice paperwork and payment.
Report to department managers regarding daily activities and issues.
Prepare, analyze, and distribute payroll reports to Management and Accounting.
Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations.
Perform other duties as assigned. This may include within or outside of your current department.

Requirements of the Payroll Specialist (Certified Payroll required) 
Extensive knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation such as tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll compliance.
Certified Payroll experience required
5 years of current experience in the payroll field.

Payroll experience with a focus on construction or a related industry preferred.
Knowledge of prevailing wage law and certified payroll reporting preferred.
Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a must
Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking and math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
