Job Summary of the Junior Interior Designer position
Integr8staff seeks an ambitious Junior Interior Designer with high-end luxury furniture experience. The Junior Interior Designer should be a creative, self-motivated and detailed individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to a wide range or product development projects.
Responsibilities of the Junior Interior Designer position
Collaborate and interface seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects
Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines
Requirements of the Junior Interior Designer position
1 to 3 years of experience in interiors or architecture
A four-year degree from an accredited school
Passion for design and an eye for detail
Exceptional 2D drawing and rendering ability
Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Procurement, and Installation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, and Microsoft Office Suite
3D modeling and realistic rendering skills preferred
Must be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.
