Job Summary of the Interior Designer position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Interior Designer with furniture fixtures and equipment experience for a global interior design firm.
Responsibilities of the Interior Designer position
Collaborate seamlessly with designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects
Supporting the senior interior designer in material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines
Ownership and management of small-scale projects and/or full project sections on large scale projects
Management and development of junior interior designers as needed
Creating project documentation including specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination)
Requirements of the Interior Designer position
4-8 years of experience in interiors or architecture
A degree from an accredited school
Excellent hand sketching and rendering ability
Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation
Expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite
Passion for design and an eye for detail
Revit, Rhino and Enscape proficiency a plus
LEED accreditation a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team
