Job Summary of the of the Media Director position
Integr8staff seeks a Media Director with proven leadership chops and strong traditional and digital media experience. This is a promising role with a leading full-service advertising agency in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities of the Media Director position
Partner with Associate Media Director & Supervisor(s) on all aspects of communication plan development and recommendations

Demonstrate full understanding of Client’s businesses as basis for all future work
Ensure integration & coordination between various communications programs
Direct marketing and media analysis to support recommendations
Seek, investigate and actively pursue innovative communications opportunities
Provide Client with strategic points-of-view
Prepare and present communication plans, as needed, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials
Supervise and monitor implementation of all media plans/buys where applicable
Lead the negotiation of long-term media contracts
Oversee long term partnerships with media companies
Act as primary planning / buying integration contact for outside agency partners
Oversee all added value programs / opportunities to ensure smooth execution
Keep abreast of media trends and market industry trends that impact business
Identify opportunities for cross-platform deals, when appropriate
Plan and present media plans to clients as necessary
Lead media team in setting brand strategies and developing media plans
Delegate work effectively to teach direct reports to deliver seamless work to client
Train planning staff in media and marketing disciplines as well as the specifics of the Client’s business and industry
Manage and mentor group dynamics between Supervisors, Analysts, Planners
Accurately, objectively and constructively evaluate performance of Senior Associate(s) and/or Associate(s) via talent development process
Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all media group outputs
Create an environment where ‘Innovation as usual’ thrives in everyday work
Supervise the Strategist and Assistant Strategist on day-to-day activities
Train all team members in all aspects of the planning process, as well as the client(s) business and industry
Update strategy/account/media team on status of all client projects

Requirements of the Media Director position
5-7 years previous digital and traditional media experience

A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly desired
Prior supervisor/management experience required
Advance computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with a third-party ad server
Strong writing, verbal, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
Interest and familiarity through use of digital media
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
MUST complete and pass a background check
