Job Summary of the Associate Creative Director position
The ACD is a dynamic wordsmith and designer and big-picture, motivational leader who can contribute and inspire and mentor fellow creative staff to come up with mind-blowing ideas and create killer executions. The ACD will provide specific direction to art directors, designers, and writers, with the goal of pushing the work to award-winning levels. The ACD combines killer design skills with a proven ability to make strong decisions and push their team to deliver stunning work and approaches, as well as oversee project design all the way through execution. Leadership and motivation skills are absolutely essential for the role. The ACD always considers what the audience might be thinking or feeling.
Responsibilities of the Associate Creative Director position
Creating integrated; tv, radio, print, social, digital campaign platforms
Proven ability to create and direct high-quality campaign creative either for marketing or platform
Experience delivering big concepts and ideas that are hip and on trend.
Ensures design concepts, script tone and styles are consistent with brand guidelines
Chart the creative course for campaigns in collaboration with Strategy team
Lead meetings and presentations with clients covering creative goals
Work directly with talent and creators to collaborate on campaigns
Manage a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
Review and edit written and visual content with clear comprehensive feedback
Stay informed and aware of all tech trends and industry specific evolutions
Develop and present innovative and strategic concepts and communication solutions clearly
Work with project managers, producers, creatives on pitches, creative ideation & productions
Work with clients to understand their brand, objectives and business needs
Maintain scope within reason on project specific deliverables
Lead, motivate and inspire the creative team and implement best practices within
Understand brand’s consumer-base, commercial & cultural contexts
Communicate openly and concisely.
Work with the Creative Director to ensure maximum effectiveness of various concepts.
Be a team player and approach every task as a ritual NOT a routine
Requirements of the Associate Creative Director position
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
6+ years of creative copywriting for an advertising agency
Ad Agency experience is required
Multicultural and/or general market consumer segment
Experience with cultivating ideas for a wide range of categories and market segments.
Writing across integrated campaigns; tv, radio, digital platforms, social media, print, etc.
Outstanding portfolio of work.
Strong written, verbal and confident communication and presentation skills required.
