Responsibilities of the Implementation Specialist (HRIS Script Testing)) position
Assist in gathering, analyzing and transforming data from the business stakeholders for the system implementations.
supports the User Acceptance Testing planning, script development and testing activities of the HRIS and supporting applications
Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and program team to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities.
Prioritize requirements to identify the most critical needs affecting application performance.
Accurately translates business requirements into functionality
Reconcile conflicts, dissect and translate the information into clear requirements, and distinguish user requirements from the underlying needs.
Create, manage and meet accurate project effort estimates for assigned tasks
Input into the development of project plans, schedules, resource needs for various HR applications projects
Incorporate usability and user interface (UI) efficiencies into business solutions
Build user acceptance test cases
Coordinate testing with end users
Provide clarification on basic questions of solution testing
Train end-users on business solution
Incorporate customer feedback into delivery of service to provide the best experience possible
Stays abreast of tax laws and HR/Payroll compliances (state/federal)
Requirements of the Implementation Specialist (HRIS Script Testing) position
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
2+ years of experience in script testing (UAT) and data validation for HRIS systems required
2+ years of Implementation experience in HR systems required
Experience developing relevant test scripts a plus
Must be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and recommend solutions for complex problems
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products required
Capable of learning new systems and creating/implementing new system functionality
