Job Summary of the Legal Marketing & Business Development Expert position
Integr8staff seeks a Legal Marketing & Business Development Expert to support and advance the firm’s strategic growth initiatives firmwide. Law firm marketing experience is required.
Responsibilities of the Legal Marketing & Business Development Expert position
Partner with attorneys and practice group leaders to develop and execute business development plans aligned with firm priorities.
Work with attorneys on marketing strategies, client engagement, and relationship development.
Serve as a responsive, day-to-day marketing resource for individual attorneys, managing requests through a centralized intake process with timely turnaround.
Identify and advance opportunities for client growth, cross-selling, and revenue generation.
Manage the preparation of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations, including development of reusable pitch materials, attorney experience descriptions, and follow-up tracking.
Coordinate and execute client events, sponsorships, conferences, and local outreach initiatives, including content development, targeted invitations, and follow-up strategies.
Plan and produce webinars, CLE programs, and virtual client briefings, including topic development, speaker coordination, presentation materials, and platform logistics.
Oversee event logistics to ensure seamless execution and meaningful engagement
Support participation in key industry organizations and strategic sponsorships
Conduct market, client, and industry research to inform business development strategies
Maintain and track experience and business development efforts
Support lateral integration and contribute to firmwide marketing initiatives
Provide individual and group business development coaching and training to attorneys at all levels, including practical guidance on building referral networks, client outreach, LinkedIn use, etc.
Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen firm branding, ensuring consistency across materials, messaging, and client-facing content.
Coordinate graphic design, marketing collateral, advertisements, and invitations, managing outside design vendors as needed to maintain brand consistency.
Support and enhance the firm’s online presence, including website content, attorney bios, practice group descriptions, and digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, with particular emphasis on LinkedIn strategy and management
Collaborate on content development and thought leadership efforts to elevate the firm’s visibility and reputation including client alerts, bylined articles, press releases, firm announcements, and coordination with outside media and publication opportunities.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategic direction
Develop, track, and report on key performance metrics related to business development
initiatives, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and return on investment
Prepare and present regular reports to firm leadership on the effectiveness of marketing and business development efforts, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
Review impact of events, campaigns, client initiatives to guide future investments and resource allocation.
Partner with firm leaders to refine strategies based on data-driven and evolving market conditions.
Requirements of the Legal Marketing & Business Development Expert position
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
Five (5)+ years of marketing and/or business development experience within a law firm environment, with demonstrated ability to serve as the primary marketing resource for a firm or practice group
Strong understanding of the legal industry, including local market dynamics and competitive landscape
Proven ability to build relationships and work with attorneys and firm leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strategic, practical, and solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
Resourceful, self-directed, and able to influence effectively without direct authority
High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and strong analytical capability
