Job Summary of the Staff Accountant position
Integr8staff is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly financial close, overseeing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and delivering comprehensive accounting support to the Controller.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant position
Month-end close and GL reconciliations
Support the oversight of accounts payable, ensuring proper coding, accurate entries, and timely payments.
Reconcile financial accounts, including cash disbursement accounts and customer accounts, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Run ad hoc financial reports as requested by the Controller or Accounting Manager, particularly for general accounting and AP/AR functions on Sage 300, Timberline.
Assist the Accounting Manager with monthly credit card transactions
Protect the organization's value by keeping financial and business information confidential
Requirements of the Staff Accountant position
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of accounting experience; prior construction industry experience is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software (experience with SAGE 300. Timberline preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
