Temp-to-hire. Non-Exempt
Pay –$21/hr. DOE
NOTE: Schedule – Mondays to Fridays; 7:30am – 4:30pm
Job Summary of the Human Resources Assistant position
Integr8staff seeks a driven and motivated Human Resources Assistant with a manufacturing company near Covina, CA. This is a tremendous opportunity to start your career in Human Resources.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant position
Daily data entry of time cards and weekly reconciliation of hours
Recruitment Support – schedule interviews, handle pre-employment documentation, scheduling.
Assists in on-boarding and off-boarding tasks such as preparing new hire kits and documentation
Assist in benefits administration and billing reconciliation
Records management which includes scanning of documents and filing
Answers and directs front desk calls from the switchboard, takes, relays messages
Screens incoming visitors, managing visitor logs, issues security badges,
Ensuring that front reception area remains professional, clean and welcoming.
Office and kitchen supply inventory and ordering, replenishes/ maintains kitchen supplies.
Sorts and distributes incoming mail and packages, making copies for office.
Requirements of the Human Resources Assistant position
Preferably with AS or BS degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
At least 1 year experience in HR and administrative work.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office – Word and excel and access
Knowledge of employment laws and payroll regulations
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Payroll experience a plus.
Required to pass a DMV, Background Check and Drug Screening
