Job Summary of the Facilities & Office Services Manager position
Integr8staff is seeking a Facilities & Office Services Manager with mid to large size law firm experience to oversee office operations and workplace services to lead and elevate the daily operations of the law firm’s office environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring a seamless, efficient, and professional workplace experience for attorneys, staff, and clients.
Responsibilities of the Facilities & Office Services Manager position
Oversee all aspects of office facilities to ensure a safe, fully functional, and professional environment
Supervise all department staff and manage overall team performance and development.
Oversee daily operations of the mailroom, central duplicating, courier/messenger services, and broader office and facilities services.
Partner with Office leadership on building-related initiatives, including space planning, construction, renovations, and ongoing maintenance.
Ensure all office equipment and technology are functioning optimally and used effectively.
Support security, parking coordination, and budgeting related to facilities and office services
Monitor productivity, manage attendance and performance, and help resolve team conflicts in a constructive, professional manner.
Develop and implement procedures and actively support hiring and performance evaluation processes.
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance evaluations, and professional growth.
Maintain expertise across areas of responsibility while delivering high-quality work and exceptional internal client service.
Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements of the Facilities & Office Services Manager position
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and law firm operations experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in facilities and/or office services management within a professional services environment (law firm experience strongly preferred)
Minimum 3+ years of legal supervisory or team leadership experience.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other technology and applications.
Experience with planning events and other office services such as personnel adds, moves, relocations.
Employee relations, coaching, leading and performance evaluation experience required.
