Title: Human Resources Intern

Onsite - Part Time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Up to 30 hours per week


Integr8staff is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This position provides hands-on exposure to core Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a strong foundation and launch a career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist with posting job openings on various job boards and platforms
    • Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Onboarding & New Hire Support:
    • Prepare onboarding materials and new hire documentation
    • Coordinate first-day activities and orientations
    • Ensure completion and accuracy of employment paperwork
  • HRIS & Data Management:
    • Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system
    • Accurately input and track employee information, forms, and documentation
  • Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain physical and electronic personnel files
    • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Employee Engagement & Programs:
    • Assist in planning and coordinating employee events, career fairs, and engagement activities
    • Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture
  • Policy & Compliance:
    • Assist with reviewing, updating, and distributing company policies
    • Support compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
    • Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment
