Job Summary of the Warehouse Manager position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and finished goods. While reporting to Director of Supply Chain, the Warehouse Manager promotes on-time shipments, compliance with safety and quality standards, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager position
Lead and direct forklift drivers and logistics coordinator to ensure timely receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and shipping.
Oversee consistent presence on the warehouse floor to monitor performance, distribute work, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Lead inventory handling, ensuring FIFO practices are followed and discrepancies are reconciled.
Coordinate daily shipments, including scheduling, preparing shipping documents, and verifying load accuracy.
Work with Customer Service and Logistics to meet service level expectations and resolve issues promptly.
Support freight and carrier coordination, including claims resolution when required.
Monitor KPIs related to warehouse productivity, accuracy, and efficiency; recommend corrective actions as needed.
Promote safety guidelines, ensure team members wear required PPE, and participate in safety audits.
Train, coach, and develop team members to build skillsets, ensure cross-training, and maintain accountability.
Support in planning warehouse layout and material flow to maximize space, efficiency, and safety.
Participate in special projects, production recalls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager position
High School Diploma/GED required
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Forklift certification and strong knowledge of warehouse equipment operation are required.
Experience overseeing union and/or hourly workforce preferred.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Food Warehousing experience preferred
Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, or extended shifts as needed
