Job Summary of the Account Manager position
A national manufacturer and distributor is seeking an Account Manager to join their expanding team. The Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic national accounts and big-box retailer relations. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage direct imports, inventory and order management for key accounts and improve customer experience, the most critical area of the organization.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager position
Process weekly analyses of domestic warehouse requirements
Manage large retailers' accounts and provide excellent customer service
Initiate inventory releases to required suppliers and factory locations.
Issue PO’s to factories as necessary to achieve inventory.
Daily analysis of domestic inventory.
Work closely with suppliers to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain and update inventory information to reflect current delivery schedules.
Ensure inventory release synchronization with supplier schedules.
Generate weekly reports: Domestic Inventory by location, OTW inventory, Overseas Inventory, Master Inventory Report.
Other reports to be generated include SKU productivity report by category.
Generate monthly Open Customer Order report.
Process outside supplier purchase orders and shipping advises.
Analyze data and generate reports upon request of management team
Qualifications of the Account Manager position
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience as an account executive, business development, or B2B.
Excellent interpersonal and ability to create solid relationships with employees and clients
Extremely effective written and verbal communications skills
Requires the ability to multi-task, manage time, and work well under pressure
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite required
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision preferred but not required
Bilingual in English / Mandarin in conversational is a MUST
Experience with big box retailers like Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Retail link preferred.
