Responsibilities of the Dealership Accounting Clerk position
Process and manage wholesale orders from automotive dealers and clients.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates.
Coordinate with other dealers/auctions to perfect titles and funding.
Handle inquiries and provide exceptional service.
Prepare and manage documentation related to wholesale transactions.
Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, deliveries, or inventory discrepancies.
Support the sales team with administrative tasks and data entry.
Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Requirements of the Dealership Accounting Clerk position
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in automotive wholesale or a similar role preferred.
Basic accounting experience required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
Additional education or certification in automotive or business-related fields is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of automotive parts and products is an advantage Pre-Employment drug screening
