Job Summary of the Legal E-Billing Clerk position
Integr8staff seeks a career-minded, skilled and seasoned E-Billing Coordinator for a highly regarded, award-winning, legal firm. This individual will be responsible for full cycle e-billing, including but not limited to, performing pre-edits, distributing prebills, processing revisions, submitting and posting bills electronically through various e-billing vendor portals.
Responsibilities of the Legal E-Billing Clerk position
Enter all relevant information and run conflict checks when opening new client/matter files
Prepare report listing identified potential conflicts to obtain approval from attorneys.
Prepare conflicts report to inform all attorneys regarding new client/matters opened and all related parties involved.
Update billing information to client matters as needed and responsible for closing matters in the system.
Forward unidentified time entry reports to timekeepers and make necessary edits.
E-mail all firm invoices to clients that are tagged for email with copies of expenses
Prepare and submit monthly e-billing invoices throughout multiple electronic billing platforms.
Confirm successful invoice transmissions; follow up regarding pending and rejected invoices with attorneys to gather needed information for successful resubmission of rejected invoices.
Create and input budgets in the e-billing systems.
Requirements of the Legal E-Billing Clerk position
Must have at least 2 years' experience working in a billing department in a law firm
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
Must be familiar with e-billing appeal preparation and process.
Experience using T360, CounseLink, Legal Exchange and wide variety of billing systems is a plus.
Knowledge of LEDES, LITAD and XML billing formats as well as knowledge of standard ABA
Litigation billing codes as plus.
Must be fast and accurate as well as proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Legal industry experience preferred

Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within established deadlines
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team environment
