Job Summary of the Payroll Tax Supervisor position
Integr8staff seeks a proven Payroll Tax Supervisor to lead and oversee all aspects of payroll tax compliance and reporting. The Payroll Tax Supervisor should have extensive knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, strong analytical skills, and able to lead a team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax filings.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Tax Supervisor position
Manage payroll tax compliance for multiple entities, including federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll tax processes and increase efficiency.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll tax deposits, filings, and payments.
Monitor changes in payroll tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
Review and reconcile payroll tax reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and quarterly and annual tax returns.
Coordinate with external tax advisors and government agencies to resolve payroll tax inquiries and audits.
Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard payroll tax data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Lead a team providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including payroll, accounting, and finance, to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in payroll tax management.

Requirements of the Payroll Tax Supervisor position
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
5+ years of experience in payroll tax management, with a proven track record of overseeing payroll tax compliance for large corporations.
Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll tax issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing a team of payroll tax professionals, including coaching and development.
Proficiency in payroll tax software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of payroll tax data.
Knowledge of international payroll tax regulations (preferred but not required).
